Destroyers or Swashbucklers

The Swashbuckler brings to mind images of action, physicality, and danger. He lives in the moment, is daring and impulsive, and gets a high from adventure. Can you say adrenaline rush?

His good qualities include:

-his love of life and the wild ride he’s constantly on.

-his fearlessness in the face of danger.

-his utter resourcefulness and skill when faced with impossible circumstances.

Alas, the Swashbuckler has a few flaws. They include:

-his tendency to be a tad self-involved. It the challenge that thrills him more than anything, and if someone or something gets in his way, he probably won’t care all that much.

-his unreliability. If a challenge or adventure presents itself, everything else will likely be erased from his mind.

-his sense of invincibility. Where self-preservation might stop another from an adventure, the swashbuckler is bold, and some might say foolhardy.
