My number one would be Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice. He’s got to be the most romantic hero of all - how did he not make this list?

I think someone at Amazon has a backwards sense of romance. I have to agree the first one to pop into my head was Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice. Lord of the Rings maybe, Aragon had a love story somewhere amongst all the distruction. My all time favorites is Casablanca, and then I do love Moonstruck, and Dr. Zhivago

i agree that Amazon’s view of romantic heroes is skewed!! Mr. Darcy, of course! Especially when played by Colin Firth. =)
I have to say I’m a fan of Keanu Reeves in the Lake House, too. *sheepish grin* He’s smoldering in the dance scene.
And though I’m not a Jude Law fan, I LOVED him in The Holiday. LOVED him.
