Celine Dion, has worked tirelessly to raise money and support for both Canadian and international efforts for the research into Cystic Fibrous, (CF). This has been a personal mission, since she watched her own niece taken from life from the disease. Realizing her star power as early as 1982 she formed the Celine Dion Foundation, which is run by volunteers so that 100% of donations go directly to the different causes she supports. She not only supports charities for CF, but so many other causes, such as support for missing children. On her website it is not uncommon to see the face and story of a missing child, and efforts to recover them safely. She as also, an active sponsor of the Princess Diana Memorial Fund. Celine Dion has never forgotten her small down Quebec roots, and often donates proceeds from her concerts and albums to help in various charities, especially those concerning children.
