All "small" but oh so important things. These are the things we need every single day and having someone to help makes wanting the big things (and pursuing them) easier. Thanks for posting, Victoria. Lone--he's out there! Don't give up. And to my two fellow angels, so happy you have men who appreciate you!

Always being able to make me laugh.

Understanding that I'm 'emotional' and don't deal with things the way he does, and giving me the support I need during these 'emotional' moments when knowing what I need isn't always the easiest thing.

I LOVE your hero of the week, Virna! Husbands are definitely Hero material. =)

Getting my car fixed for me because I hate doing that.

Squashing all the bugs and knocking down the spider webs, because I live in a wooded area where it's hot and humid, and the bugs are really scary out on the veranda in July.

I'm a simple girl :)

Now if I could only find a man to DO these things...

He always introduces me by name first - a definite acknowledgement I am my own person. This is important to me because I loathe men who introduce their wife by saying, "This is my wife, So-and-So." instead of saying, "This is So-and-So, my wife." To me, the former smacks of possession and not in a good way - rather like a dog marking his territory, lol.

On a lighter note, whenever we're together and have stop to fill the gas tank, he invariably returns from the convenience store with a pack of peanut M&Ms for me.
