We see the good in them and want to save them from themselves. To allow the world to see the goodness in them we do. Working in law enforcement, I can tell a hundred tales of nice women, visiting their bad boy. Of course if they rob from the rich to give the poor, then it makes them even more appealing. If they can excuse their bad behavior with stories of their the goodness of their nature, again the appeal grows. I have seen well dressed, educated, with a good job professional women, visiting their highwayman. I've seen good cops, with a long career ahead of them, throw it all away for a highwayman. As women the appeal of the bad boy or highwayman, is a powerful pull. Because after all they'll change for us. Seeing what I have in my life, I couldn't overcome the in-honorable traits.
